It's Saturday, 1 Feb...Gong Xi Fa Chai...
I'm stuck here in Oz...where nothing's happening except in Sydney tomorrow along George St...so..last night...binged on food...takeaway fried rice with lemon chicken, and a large pepperoni pizza with extra cheese...and a can of coke...yum...:)
School's started already...and I had to miss out on CNY unfortunately...but things like that have to happen sometimes...oh well...maybe next time...
The classes are pretty simple for now...the only thing that I have to worry about I think is Math...but most of the class was crying too..so no matter...
A friend and myself have taken on the task of organising a camp for 150 persons...at this moment, our biggest problem is getting enough water to the camp site...we need a MINIMUM of 900 litres per day...and that's at the MINIMUM of 6 litres per person per day...so, over a weekend, we will probably need a Cat 1 Bushfire tanker (pic here)...that's a pretty large truck...:S...we'll have to sort SOMETHING out....!
I might not be able to update too often...but I'll try my best...I'm in Bathurst library at the moment...so I'll have to keep this short and sweet...
Well...adios for now...and have a nice day...:)
Who Is The Black Chinaman?

- Nick
- Kuala Belait, Brunei
- Saving someone's life is like falling in love. The best drug in the world. For days, sometimes weeks afterwards, you walk the streets, making infinite whatever you see. Once, for a few weeks, I couldn't feel the earth - everything I touched became lighter. Horns played in my shoes. Flowers fell from my pockets. You wonder if you've become immortal, as if you've saved your own life as well. God has passed through you. Why deny it, that for a moment there - why deny that for a moment there, God was you? I realised that my training was useful in less than ten percent of the calls, and saving lives was rarer than that. After a while, I grew to understand that my role was less about saving lives than about bearing witness. I was a grief mop. It was enough that I simply turned up. Living and working back in Brunei, after a 14 year absence... Also known as: Brunei, NASA, Bruise-Eye, Bru, Cheesecake, Nick, BruNick, BruMedNick, Two Step etc etc etc
