Bloody hell, what is Erika trying to get at? She was having a bad day, and who does she take it out on? You guesssed it...
Arrived home yesterday, bloody finally, and am I glad to be back...
Nothing much has happened recently...those who know what happened would realise the significance of the term "Merry Christmas"...and those who don't, well, you should have been there...:)
Got some awards from the Cadets last week, and had to play "Somewhere Over The Rainbow" at the Speech Day last Friday...that was fun...in front of 2000 ppl...!
Didn't get a Prefect position at my school...I'm kinda cut about that, but also glad since there isn't all that too many thing I have to do next year and can actually look at my school work...
Ahh...bugger this...
There's Uli that I like lots...she's leaving for Scotland in about 3 months time...so I'm not sure what to do...she want's to meet up, and so do I, but what will happen? I want to get to know her before she leaves, but I'm not sure how far to take things anymore...but I really like her...:(
Which brings us back to Erika...she's had a bad day...heart problems...and I try to make her happy...takes it out on me...and starts saying things that I'm not sure is right or wrong...and she's been playing that card recently...been saying that she's had sex...or has she...and dares to say that all she was to me was a "penpal"...gee babe...realise something...you were everything to me for 18 months...EVERYTHING...bloody hell...I hate this...
Who Is The Black Chinaman?

- Nick
- Kuala Belait, Brunei
- Saving someone's life is like falling in love. The best drug in the world. For days, sometimes weeks afterwards, you walk the streets, making infinite whatever you see. Once, for a few weeks, I couldn't feel the earth - everything I touched became lighter. Horns played in my shoes. Flowers fell from my pockets. You wonder if you've become immortal, as if you've saved your own life as well. God has passed through you. Why deny it, that for a moment there - why deny that for a moment there, God was you? I realised that my training was useful in less than ten percent of the calls, and saving lives was rarer than that. After a while, I grew to understand that my role was less about saving lives than about bearing witness. I was a grief mop. It was enough that I simply turned up. Living and working back in Brunei, after a 14 year absence... Also known as: Brunei, NASA, Bruise-Eye, Bru, Cheesecake, Nick, BruNick, BruMedNick, Two Step etc etc etc
