Who Is The Black Chinaman?

Saving someone's life is like falling in love. The best drug in the world. For days, sometimes weeks afterwards, you walk the streets, making infinite whatever you see. Once, for a few weeks, I couldn't feel the earth - everything I touched became lighter. Horns played in my shoes. Flowers fell from my pockets. You wonder if you've become immortal, as if you've saved your own life as well. God has passed through you. Why deny it, that for a moment there - why deny that for a moment there, God was you? I realised that my training was useful in less than ten percent of the calls, and saving lives was rarer than that. After a while, I grew to understand that my role was less about saving lives than about bearing witness. I was a grief mop. It was enough that I simply turned up. Living and working back in Brunei, after a 14 year absence... Also known as: Brunei, NASA, Bruise-Eye, Bru, Cheesecake, Nick, BruNick, BruMedNick, Two Step etc etc etc

Damn...I lost the old blog that I was writing!

Well...it included this tho...I know that much...dinner was EXCELLENT...as home cooked food goes that is...:)...but this one was exceptional!...Dad just invested in this little cooker thing (the review can be found here) and yea...it was cooked absoloutely perfectically...kinda like what you'd expect for a $25 steak...speaking of steaks...just realised soemthing...haven't had a T-bone in a while now...mmm...there's this restaurant that makes absoloutely fab-u-lo-so T-bones...just melts in ur mouth n falls off the bone...ooo...*wipes drool from keyboard n chin*...the black pepper sauce...enough to burn through your teeth...*slaps himself*...gee...got to stop doing that...only one way...got to figure out a way to get back to that restaurant...*planning in progress*...

As you might have imagined (and some would know)...I love food...I've got to extend my repertoire a bit...starting to go towards cakes n stuff...but oh...I wanna get my cooking to top notch material...should take a couple of years...but it'll get there hopefully...

Donno weather to b happy or what...but I guess I can be glad...dad got for me a water bag (Camelbak) made by Deuter (German bag making company...damned good...like Eastpak...)...costs about a hundred...but it adds about 2.5 l to the 2 l that I normall carry on deployments...so that's 4.5 l with me...with another 2 or so at HQ...yea...enough water for most of the day...

Um...last couple of days...packing starts soon...hmm...wonder what to dring over there...not alot this year I think...oh well...better start sorting stuff out...

20 or so months till I finish school...goodie...:)...(Stannies)

Well...making tracks...hope u liked the new editions...spent half of last night and this morning setting up the links, counter, guestbook, and feedback thingy...so...please take the time to add something...please remember...this is still under *continuing* construction...
