Now, where was I?
Ah, that's right...so Jonsey was there, and he owed me a couple of bucks from Koorawatha...bought lunch for him at Maccas...well, he took out this little hip flask, and poured some of it into my little schooner of VB...all he said was "drink up", and I did, and it was GOOD...80 year old Scotch...bloody beautiful...had about 6 shots of the stuff...and it was burning all the way down...and it was good...after that little incident, I was totalled...I was staggering out onto the side walk with Lucas and a couple of the boys, and we all walked to the Eddy for round four...
Jonsey went home, the soft bastard...so did Jono, and Dan just came by a bit later to pick me up...didn't trust myself to walk back to the house...neither did he aparently...bu yea, had the last call of drinks for the night at the Eddy, talked to Claire (a different one) a couple more times...then went home...
Got into the house, then had this major urge to get something to eat...so, out I went, back to the Ox, and tried to get in...stupid stupid me...forgot about the 0200 curfew, so, I had to walk round to the back of the food van and ask Claire to help get me some food...I think I ate a packet of hot chips...donno what, but it was good and filled me up a bit...
I woke up at 1000 when Jess came by to get stuff for work...I was wedged between the wall and the futons, so it was actually really comfortable...staggered outside (sunshine was good) and was sitting on the wall having a smoko when Dean and Timmy walked by...so we were sitting on the wall just chatting, when Tommy VG drove past...nothing doing...walked up to school at 1100, and was talking to TVG about it, and he was just laughing...got Dane, but was too pissed to even walked straight...managed to get to South to get some food...and yea...the rest of the day was pretty slow and relacing...just got lots of sleep...and that night was Palm Sunday, so went to church...don't worry...I'd sobered up by then...
Yesterday, when I left, I waxs going to go get pizzas for the TGP...everyone paid $5, and they got a full pizza from Dominos...which was really good...so everyone sat outside on the front, and just ate and talked...
And those who haven't seen it before, Futurama is a really cool show...:)
I've got to go study for Religion (yea, right...)...oh, I'm also thinking of asking Lisa McCosker out to the Ball too...Candice can't make it, so that's a bummer...I might just go solo again...and join up with 315...I did get invited to join their table...but I'd hate to be the third wheel again (so what else is new???)...
Back to study...(read: SLEEP)
Who Is The Black Chinaman?

- Saving someone's life is like falling in love. The best drug in the world. For days, sometimes weeks afterwards, you walk the streets, making infinite whatever you see. Once, for a few weeks, I couldn't feel the earth - everything I touched became lighter. Horns played in my shoes. Flowers fell from my pockets. You wonder if you've become immortal, as if you've saved your own life as well. God has passed through you. Why deny it, that for a moment there - why deny that for a moment there, God was you? I realised that my training was useful in less than ten percent of the calls, and saving lives was rarer than that. After a while, I grew to understand that my role was less about saving lives than about bearing witness. I was a grief mop. It was enough that I simply turned up. Living and working back in Brunei, after a 14 year absence... Also known as: Brunei, NASA, Bruise-Eye, Bru, Cheesecake, Nick, BruNick, BruMedNick, Two Step etc etc etc
