Who Is The Black Chinaman?

Saving someone's life is like falling in love. The best drug in the world. For days, sometimes weeks afterwards, you walk the streets, making infinite whatever you see. Once, for a few weeks, I couldn't feel the earth - everything I touched became lighter. Horns played in my shoes. Flowers fell from my pockets. You wonder if you've become immortal, as if you've saved your own life as well. God has passed through you. Why deny it, that for a moment there - why deny that for a moment there, God was you? I realised that my training was useful in less than ten percent of the calls, and saving lives was rarer than that. After a while, I grew to understand that my role was less about saving lives than about bearing witness. I was a grief mop. It was enough that I simply turned up. Living and working back in Brunei, after a 14 year absence... Also known as: Brunei, NASA, Bruise-Eye, Bru, Cheesecake, Nick, BruNick, BruMedNick, Two Step etc etc etc

TITUS

Probably one of the best shows that is currently on TV at the moment...bloody excellent...if you have to opportunity, have a read of his life philosophies...one of which is "I learn something new about myself every day. Why do you think I have this perpetually horrified look on my face?"...and it's all based on his life growing up...

I think I finally managed to track down my old teacher from Malaysia...it has been 6 years since I last saw her...and from what I've heard from her dad, she's now married and has recently just given birth to a daughter, Natalie...bloody glad for them...you little ripper...:)...She's now living in Perth, which was something that I didn't know, or was actually expecting...

This is always fun doing the all nigther when you've got a day of work to complete later on...I've got to go assist with moving Jesus, Mary and Joseph, not to mention a variety of animals and the Three Wise Guys...we're taking the Nativity Scene out of storage and getting them cleaned up for the big day...which is only...gee...6 days away...funky...

After that I've also got to practice parts for the Christmas choir, so that should be interesting half asleep...:)...

I might just wait for my sis to wake up...it's only 0612, and I'm actually feeling kinda peckish...so I might see if she's interested in driving to the place that, so far, in all my searching, serves the best breaky food in the world...no one can cook the stuff that this family can anywhere else in the world...it's so successful too...if you haven't realised, they're a family owned business, and they treat everyone like regulars...and being regulars, you're treated like family...:)...I remember one Chinese New Year, I recieved an ang pow (Red Packet - contains an amount of money) from the Popo (grandma) of the shop...gee..was I stoked...;)

Another interesting thing that I've recently been invited to join is Friendster...if you're interested, just click here...

Well, I'll sign off here for now......damn those wasabi peanuts...*groan*
