Whoa...nearly a month...gleep....Well...it has been a real busy month I guess...latest was that I just came back from a Geo fieldtrip at the Snowy Mountains in NSW...we attempted walking on Thursday to the summit of Mt Kosciusko...http://www.peakbagger.com/peak/koscius.htm...got to within 2 km of it...but had to turn back dur to the following reasons: rain, which was horizontal; winds in excess of 75km/h; a case of mild hypothermia in the group; and a wind chill temperature of -20C...the group managed to walk about 6.5km to Seaman's Hut from Charlotte's Pass, where Australia's coldest temperature was recorded a while ago (-23C, no wind)...that's a return trip of 13km in the elements...and it was a very interesting experience...not one that I would like to relive again netime soon though...maybe in a couple of months...who knows?...Also managed to see the full extent of the fires that raveged the area a couple of months ago...absoloutely amazing...the amount of area which was burnt...it extended to the horizon...and most of this area had already taken over 40 years to get to how it is...I'm wondering if it'll take another 40 to get back again...hope not...
Yea...the Geo trip was good...we built a fire...toasted marshmellows...bummed around for a couple of days...and just did field sketches and took pictures and stuff of the like...
Talked to E a while ago...she was doing fine...going to be in a movie!...That should be interesting! It's a wearwolf one...and she's a victim...hmm...yea...donno the name of it yet...but yea...al the best to her I guess...
There's a parade tomorrow at the airport for the Bathrust Aero Club...that should be a good day...have to be there at 0900...probably till 1700...ahhh...donno what to do...
Yea...failed 3 exams in a row...um...really embarressed about that...yea...school's going well...if u can say that...:P
Going now..have a good day...
Yea...that's my month...nothing going on...period...:)
Who Is The Black Chinaman?

- Saving someone's life is like falling in love. The best drug in the world. For days, sometimes weeks afterwards, you walk the streets, making infinite whatever you see. Once, for a few weeks, I couldn't feel the earth - everything I touched became lighter. Horns played in my shoes. Flowers fell from my pockets. You wonder if you've become immortal, as if you've saved your own life as well. God has passed through you. Why deny it, that for a moment there - why deny that for a moment there, God was you? I realised that my training was useful in less than ten percent of the calls, and saving lives was rarer than that. After a while, I grew to understand that my role was less about saving lives than about bearing witness. I was a grief mop. It was enough that I simply turned up. Living and working back in Brunei, after a 14 year absence... Also known as: Brunei, NASA, Bruise-Eye, Bru, Cheesecake, Nick, BruNick, BruMedNick, Two Step etc etc etc
